Savvy Skirts was founded in February 2004 to bring two life-long Girlfriends, Sheri Olson and Shelly Clayborn closer together. Our research and development for this project has been on-going since childhood. For us - the love of shopping was a quest to find that perfect gift for each other, our Girlfriends, co-workers, family and loved ones. We would search for unique and trendy gifts from stores, catalogs, magazines and the Internet that reflected the particular interests or style of each individual person. Our personalized shopping was sometimes simply to brighten someone's day, or to celebrate friends and families latest life events. This quest has always been about letting the recipient know that we understood their world.

Sadly, it was the unfortunate death of our close Girlfriend in November 2003 that changed our lives forever. Vicki had been such a part of our lives throughout high school, college and beyond. She touched so many lives with her presence and beautiful smile. Even though times in life when we all drifted apart, like most Girlfriends, happiness was just a phone call away to reconnect the flood of memories and smiles. No matter what stresses Vicki endured in life, she always took time out of her day to send a card, call a friend or family member and to give little gifts with pizzazz that made life special. She was truly an inspiration to us all.

Savvy Skirts, meaning Smart Women, is a premiere gift service both for and about women.
